"I was denied an insurance claim when I had an accident (hit a pothole) . I was told it was due to "rust" under my vehicle. They had no problem accepting the vehicle 8 MONTHS AGO and allowing me to pay full coverage. But now I have to much rust and wear and tear on my vehicle? When trying to get help from the office to see how I can appeal the claim. I'm told to " contact " the same claims office who denied me in the first place. Typical run around from insurance companies. No help at all. ( update) While the claim I filed hasn't been resolved the way I wanted. I really appreciate the HELP I was asking for from Camille Garrett . I was given all answers and assistance needed to further help me get my claim resolved. Thank you again, Camille Garrett"
"We appreciate your business and any feedback you have. Since returning from medical leave, I was able to research your inquiry and it appears that a payment was made for your claim. State Farm recommends that the Claims Department resolve any disputes on claims handling such as what is covered, what is not covered, etc. because they do the full investigation that the agents office is not a part of. We are advised to suggest you speak to the Claim Rep and Claims management initially as it is their responsibility to reinspect your vehicle to determine if an additional assessment needs to be reconsidered. I was not able to have a conversation with you but if you would like to have your claim reexamined, I will work with you and the Claims Department for reconsideration. We do not physically inspect vehicles especially the undercarriage upon writing a policy therefore we would not have known if there was any damage, wear and tear, rust, etc. underneath. I will contact you for further discussion."

"Lady are very Rude in office. Send false information to the ILDV not investigate that their client no longer has a lien for vehicle. Very inconsiderate. Please chose another insurance company wisely because they charge late fees for their pockets"
"We appreciate your feedback. My apologies if your experience was unpleasant in any way. Our goal is to make sure we handle our customers with the best service based on the tools and requirements we have to utilize. Since returning from medical leave, I have been able to research your inquiry. Although we appreciate the years you spent with our agency, we have not insured a vehicle for you since February 2024, therefore I am not sure of any recent concerns from the date of your review. We DO NOT send any lien information to ILDV on any vehicle insured with us. The State of Illinois has access to vehicle information based on your registration, VIN and other information that is not reported by insurance companies. I would love to gain a better understanding as to what took place in an effort to provide a better understanding or a resolution of the situation. You are correct that there are late fees now being charged for late and returned payments. Our company, after over 100 years, has had to resort to implementing fees due to the cost of processing, bank fees, etc. Please allow me to help."

"I started by getting a quote online and completed a contact form including my availability to ask some questions. The agent called me in the middle of my work day. I told her I was ready to purchase a policy based on my quote, but I have some questions. When I asked for a call back during the time I originally said I would be available, she got an attitude with me. I never received a call back and that’s fine, if this is how they do business."
